I wish they would fix the raytrace AO in Blender, which gives you that odd grainy look. I use approximate AO, which doesn't look as good, but it also doesn't give you that grainy look. Check out my recent work if you want to see what I mean.
Modeling looks very fine to me (altough I gotta admit that I never played Bioshock, but this looks very much like the stuff you see in there) Maybe put a little more detail on the walls and floors, like tiles or something (I know you can probably texture these in with a displacement map, but it's about the only thing I can say) or add some posters etc.
